Producers
Bizzy B and Sampleoidz.co.uk presents;
The
first Chopstars Remix Showcase,
A worldwide on-line production
competition in which producers attempt to make the most mangled, mashed up
composition out of the same sample set, provided fresh from the labs of The Mad
Scientist himself, Bizzy B.
Gearheads and Audiophiles take note; This
showcase is a genuine chance to get your tunes heard on a wide
scale. The number one entry gets a vinyl release on Bizzy
B's new label, and a new M Audio soundcard. The top 8
entries will be released on an exclusive Digital LP, along
with a year-long membership to Sampleoidz.com.
The
end of the showcase will feature reviews of each tune by a mystery
beat maestro t.b.a.
This is open to all styles and
bpms, Including Jungle/DnB.
To
Enter;
1.Download the sample pack. (You have to buy this
pack) Buy
Here:
2.Create an original composition using exclusively sounds
derived from said sample pack.
3.Submit your final product by uploading a
320mp3 to
BizzyB.net
by November 5th 2007.
4.The Results will be judged by the following
qualities.
a. Originality
b. Ingenuity
c. Fidelity
d.
Drumwork
e. Basswork
f. Use of samples
A popular vote will be
held after all of the entries have been received @ sampleoidz.com,
This will
consist of listeners ranking each tune on a scale from 0 to 10 for each
respective category.
The votes will then be tallied and averaged for each
category, and the entries with the top eight ranking will receive the
consolation prizes.

2nd through
8th places – Releasd on a digital label.
