Brian Johnson, better known as "Bizzy B," is a distinguished UK-based producer and DJ with an emphasis in Hardcore, Jungle, and Drum n Bass genres. With an illustrious career that traces back to the early '90s, his contributions to the music scene have been transformative.

In 1991, Bizzy B established Brain Records, where he pioneered the fusion of Breakbeat Hardcore by integrating influences from House and Techno. This unique blend was characterized by robust breakbeats and the distinct touch of ragga vocal samples. Under his leadership, the label produced a plethora of records, often under different pseudonyms or in collaboration with other industry names.

Teaming up with Dean Vincent, known as Pugwash, they co-founded The Dream Team. Their musical creations found a home with the esteemed Jungle/Hardcore label, Suburban Base Records, and subsequently, under their own label, Joker Records. "Stamina / Warriors," their inaugural release in 1994, set the tone for a dynamic decade that saw albums like "The Drum & Bass World Series" and "The Trilogy" in 1997.

Shifting gears around the millennium's onset, Bizzy B ventured into the UK Garage realm, contributing to projects like "The Beatfreaks (2)" and "Second Protocol." Concurrently, his Drum n Bass productions flourished under "Warped Science." His earlier work witnessed a revival due to a renewed appetite for Jungle's intense flavors, bringing the iconic Amen breaks back into the limelight.

Maintaining a formidable presence in the 2010s, Bizzy B continued to churn out contemporary productions and unreleased gems from the '90s. Between 1994 and 1998, he co-owned the 2 Getherness record shop. In 2005, the maestro behind Hardcore, Jungle, and UK Garage, with over three decades of production and engineering experience, launched a website. It encapsulates his dedication to nurturing budding producers by offering them affordable sample packs, enriched with the unique sounds from his rave culture era.
